Bachmann Up 48-39 Over Clark In First Polling: A Race to Watch

First polling in Bachmann's 6th District (KSTP/Survey USA), gives the BP Congresswoman a 9 point lead. This is a solid lead but, frankly, it is not insurmountable. I expected worse.

The numbers are 48-39, Bachmann over Clark with the IP Anderson getting 6%. Bachmann is under the critical 50% threshold for an incumbent, but she also has a wad of cash stored up.

It is still Bachmann's race to lose, but Clark has some numbers to work with. Especially a big gender gap. Clark has a solid lead among women and that can work to her advantage.

Looks like we have a race with Clark still having an uphill climb....but these numbers will certainly keep the attention level high and that is good for Clark and her fundraising.

I told ya! Clark's attack on Bachmann is an unfair strawman argument. Bachman suggested BP claim their right to due process. Arguing that Bachman is supporting BP is frivolous. Bachmann cannot provide one nickle of help to BP no matter what opinion she brings forward. Clark's strawman claiming otherwise doesn't play well with the voters. She's going down in flames if she sticks to this line.

Where there is no vision the people perish. Clark is not demonstrating vision. Leadership would advocate how she intends to make life better. Not how to attack another Rep's opinion.
